Modern vehicle electronic control systems are computers that monitor virtually every component in your vehicle, from steering and brakes, to fuel injectors and air conditioning. This computer has a series of sensors that can determine if there is a problem with any of these components and notify the driver via dashboard warning lights and stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) to signal problems to technicians.
